SIRIUS SATELLITE TV

SIRIUS SATELLITE TV

Sirius satellite TV is available in the Chrysler Groups 2008 vehicles.  Sirius Backseat TV offers a new innovative TV service that allows the best family TV programs to be seen from your vehicles.

The video service offers reputable family TV programming, such as, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel.  It is available in the Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles (Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan minivans).

Backseat passengers will be able to watch “Sponge Bob Square Pants” on Nickelodeon,

“Hannah Montana” on Disney Channel, and “Billy And Mandy” on Cartoon Network.

The programming from Sirius Backseat TV works by using an in-vehicle satellite video receiver along with two antenna which are mounted on the roof of your vehicle.  The vehicle video screen will show name, title, and program rating, and name of the channel being viewed.

With Sirius Satellite TV, the backseat passengers can watch their favorite programs while the front seat listens to their favorite tunes on Sirius Satellite radio.  Front seat riders can watch television when the vehicle is parked.

With the Town & Country van, one person can watch a channel on one screen while someone else can play video games or enjoy a DVD on the other screen.

There is no fading out of the channels because satellite is used.

Only Chrysler has Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network for the Model year of 2008.

More Channels could possibly become available in the future; however, at the present time, the bandwidth which is allowed for satellite TV is a problem because it is limited.   Sirius made the brilliant discovery of how to send a limited TV signal through the airways which were provided for sastelite radio.

Parents will be happy with Sirius Satellites ingenious idea.  The fact that the children can watch TV on one screen and a DVD on the another screen can only offer the parent peace, due to less quarreling over having to share the same screen.

The Sirius Satellite TV isn’t free.  It does carry a price tag with it.  It will cost $470 for Chryslers backseat entertainment system and the satellite radio package.  This price will include the first year of service, after which, the TV channel service cost for enjoying Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network will be at seven dollars per month.  The satellite radio cost will be five dollars per month.

If you prefer not to drive a mini van, the Chrysler Group has plans for installing Sirius Satellite TV in the Charger, 300, and the Dodge Magnum in the future.

Also available with Sirius Backseat TV will be the Jeep Commander and the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Things seem to be looking great for the future of Sirius Satellite TV.
